Rich, jammy sloe gin meets bittersweet Campari and sweet vermouth, with a little Golden Hour Gin to keep everything beautifully balanced.

Ingredients

• 25ml Loveday Sloe & Damson Gin Liqueur
• 15ml Loveday Golden Hour Gin
• 25ml Campari
• 25ml sweet red vermouth
• Ice
• A bay leaf and sliver of orange peel to garnish

1. Add all the ingredients to a mixing glass filled with ice.
2. Stir for 20-30 seconds until thoroughly chilled.
3. Strain into a short glass over a large cube of ice.
4. Twist the strip of orange peel over the glass to release the orange oil and drop it in, along with the bay leaf.

A little tip: Sloe gin brings its own sweetness, so I've reduced the Campari and vermouth slightly and included a little gin to maintain the balance. If you prefer a drier, more gin-forward Negroni, increase the Golden Hour to 25ml.
