It’s hard to believe, but Loveday is turning five.
What started as a slightly chaotic lockdown project, with tiny stills, doorstep drop-offs and a lot of guesswork, has somehow grown into a distillery, a taproom, and a community of people we genuinely love having around. If you’ve ever bought a bottle, come to an open house, sent a kind message, or brought a friend along, you’ve been part of it. Thank you.
So, we’re doing what we do best. We’re opening the doors and having people over.
Open House at Loveday Distillery – What’s On
We’re hosting a special 5th birthday open house at Loveday Distillery in Falmouth on:
Friday 18th April
From 6pm onwards
Here’s what to expect:
- A welcome drink on us – Falmouth Dry Gin & tonic when you arrive
- Our full range of handcrafted gins and rums, poured right where they’re made
- Jessie Dodkins cooking up his (very) well-known pasta
- A couple of our favourite DJ friends playing into the evening
- Birthday cake on us, obviously
- Candlelight, good music, and the usual mix of familiar faces and new ones
It’s the kind of night that starts with “just one” and ends with everyone lingering a bit longer than planned.
A Falmouth Distillery Built for Gathering
If you’ve not been before, our distillery is tucked away here in Falmouth, with plenty of space to settle in. There’s loads of parking, cosy corners, and room for groups of all shapes and sizes.
You don’t need a ticket, and you don’t need a reason. Just come as you are.
Bring friends, bring family, bring your dog. We mean it when we say everyone’s welcome.
Five Years of Loveday
Five years in, and we still feel like we’re just getting started.
We’ve made a lot of drinks, applied a lot of labels, hosted a lot of nights, and learned a lot along the way. But the thing that’s stayed the same is why we started in the first place. To make things properly, and to bring people together over something good in their glass.
This birthday feels less like a milestone and more like an excuse to do more of that.
