Beloved by amblers, story tellers, lovers and artists, the joy of passing through a kissing gate and stealing a kiss is timeless. They dot the paths through our woods, fields and coastlines, where inspiration and ingredients for this herbal, hedgerow gin are found in abundance

TASTING NOTES

Sunshine in a glass. Warm, grassy florals and a savoury nudge from fresh lovage. Creamy, with notes of coconut, wildflowers and a herbaceous finish.

GOOD TO KNOW

This is often the bottle we point people towards when they’re not quite sure which gin to choose. Rounded, floral and gently herbaceous, it plays beautifully in everything from a simple G&T to more adventurous cocktails.

REFILLS & RECYCLING

Bring your empty Loveday bottles back to the distillery and we’ll refill them for 10% off!

If you’re recycling at home, the glass bottle and cardboard packaging can go straight into your household recycling. There’s no need to remove the paper labels first - they're plastic-free and designed to work with the recycling process.

The stopper is worth hanging on to- it makes a lovely keepsake, and while it's commercially compostable, local recycling guidance varies, so we recommend reusing or repurposing it where possible.

Located just a few minutes from the centre of Falmouth, Loveday Distillery is an independent, hospitality-led distillery where we make all of our award-winning gin and rum from scratch using fresh and foraged botanicals.

Our Friday evening taproom is the perfect place to enjoy gin and tonics, Negronis, seasonal cocktails and pintxos just a few metres from the stills where everything is made.

Whether you're looking for a distillery in Falmouth, a cosy cocktail bar in Cornwall, or simply somewhere warm and welcoming to start the weekend, you'll find candlelight, good company and handcrafted spirits made the long way round.

There is plenty of free parking on site, and our distillery shop is open throughout the evening if you'd like to take a bottle home.
