Strawberry & mint Kilner jar punch

An ultimate make-ahead crowd-pleaser- serves 6

2 tablespoons demerara sugar

2 limes, quartered

2 large sprigs of mint

500g strawberries with the tops removed and sliced

250ml Golden Hour gin

Soda to serve


Muddle the sugar, limes and mint in your Kilner jar, then add the strawberries and gin. Stir and leave to macerate in the fridge for 2 hours, and up to 2 days. When ready to serve, fill short glasses with ice, half fill with punch from a spoon or small ladle and top with soda.
